Australian advertising technology company Hoppr has announced the appointment of Joe Prusz as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Prusz was previously the Chief Revenue Officer for US$1.2 billion NASDAQ-listed Magnite, which transacts billions of daily impressions across Connected TV (CTV), Over-the-top (OTT), Video, Mobile, Display, Audio, and Digital Out-Of-Home (DOOH).
“Hoppr is thrilled that Joe has joined the company to drive the company’s next phase of commercialisation. He comes to Hoppr with deep domain expertise across digital ad ecosystems, programmatic platforms and Connected TV advertising,’ said Hoppr co-Chairman Vince Pizzica.
As CEO, Prusz will focus on the monetisation of inventory using Hoppr’s unique and patented solution, and the delivery of the company’s new advertising solution for the Connected TV industry.
“I’m delighted to be joining Hoppr at this exciting juncture in the company’s evolution from startup to fast-growing scale-up. Hoppr’s technology is going to transform the way advertising is delivered across television,” said Prusz.
Hoppr’s solution automates and integrates programmatic advertising across Connected TV, mobile devices and other digital native engagement environments.
The company’s turnkey marketing and commercialisation vehicle for video on demand (VOD) combines several key fundamentals to enable brands to leverage VOD as a mechanism to generate additional revenue.
Its solution makes it possible to deploy advertising at scale without requiring network service providers (NSPs) and PayTV operators to modify their underlying technology stack. In so doing, Hoppr enables advertisers and brand managers to reach CTV audiences in a targeted manner by offering the right product to the right subscriber at the right time.
Hoppr is a global advertising innovator whose technology extends messaging, branding and user engagement directly to the living room on Connected TV.
It recently won Gold for Innovation in the Stevies – the Oscars of business, as well as the Australian Business Awards for Innovation.
