Macquarie Cloud Services Tops List of Australia’s Best Tech Employers

Macquarie Cloud Services, a division of Macquarie Technology Group, has clinched the coveted number one spot in the 30-99 employee category of the annual Best Workplaces in Technology in Australia List, announced on 8 March 2024.

The prestigious ‘List,’ compiled by global workplace culture consultancy, Great Place to Work, employs rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback to shortlist companies. Building upon the success of the esteemed Fortune World’s Best Workplaces, the 2024 Technology List emphasises organizations that prioritise employee welfare and workplace equity.

Macquarie Cloud Services shone from the average of 56% of Australian enterprises due to the very high level of work satisfaction among its team members. Amazingly, 99% of workers even went out of their way to suggest the business to others. The organisation promotes employee health and well-being, awards excellent customer service, and provides professional development.

Macquarie Cloud Services’ group executive, James Mystakidis, boasted about the organization’s commitment to its employees, stating, “Macquarie Cloud Services is a tech company that puts our people first.”

“Our purpose is to help customers who are underserved and overcharged, but we can only do that by creating a trusting, transparent, and supportive environment for our people. I’m truly proud that our team has once again propelled us to win this award and rank number one in our category,” he added.

Rebecca Moulynox, the general manager of Great Place to Work Australia, underscored the critical significance of leadership in influencing the culture of an organization. “What sets these top 55 Best Workplaces apart is the integrity of their leaders and their dedication to fulfilling commitments.”

“This calibre of leadership fosters trust and cultivates an exceptional employee experience, which transforms organisations,” she further states.

The accolade adds to the recent recognition received by Macquarie Cloud Services’ parent company, Macquarie Technology Group, which was honored with the 2024 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award (GEWA), strengthening its status as one of the most engaged workplace cultures globally.

With its unwavering commitment to prioritising employee well-being and fostering a supportive workplace environment, Macquarie Cloud Services continues to set benchmarks in the technology sector, driving positive impact not only within the organization but also across the broader industry and the Australian business landscape.
